This soup is a great way to get ready for Halloween, Witches ‘Brew!This delectable keto-friendly recipe has sausage, chicken broth, bacon and kale.It has all the flavour of a classic autumn soup without the added concern of carbohydrates!
Ingredients
- 1 lb mild sausage
- 5 bacon strips uncured
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 4 cups chicken bone broth
- 4 cups cauliflower
- 2 cups chopped kale
Directions
- Sauté the bacon and sausage in two skillets.
- Place the cooked sausage and bacon aside. Then, remove any grease.
- Add the garlic, onion and red pepper. Add the chicken broth into one of the skillets.
- Stir well, then mix to the cauliflower.
- For 15-20 minutes, cook the cauliflower at medium-low temperature until the cauliflower has softened.
- Incorporate heavy cream, kale and heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then simmer for five minutes.
