CUCUMBERS WITH A BANG! are a simple and easy way to use up some of those cucumbers that are overtaking your garden this summer.

Bang Bang Cucumbers!! –  When I make ribs or grill anything I always make this as a side. We  happen to love cucumbers and this is just one of the ways we enjoy them. Cucumbers with a bang are a simple and easy way to use up some of those cucumbers that are overtaking your garden this summer

Cucumbers are a perfect side dish to me in the summer months. They are so cool, refreshing and always readily available. This side is so simple to make and we like the little kick the chili powder adds.  

Ingredients

  • 2 Cucumbers
  • 2 tbsp fresh Lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chile Powder to taste

Instructions

  • Slice cucumbers into desired widths. Mix lemon juice, olive oil, salt , pepper and chili powder. Pour over cucumbers and let sit for at least 2 hours.

This healthy Cucumbers with a BANG! is my new favorite afternoon snack. It is so easy to make and tastes delicious. Cucumber’s increase your energy and boost your metabolism. The olive oil is a healthy fat and lemon juice helps detox and cleanse your blood of impurities. The cayenne pepper is a also a detox agent.
It is a super food snack! You will love this post workout. I can’t wait to make this with fresh cucumbers from my garden. This is great for clean eating! I also love to use this in combination with Detox Water. It is a great combination for added detox with this healthy cucumber snack.
