Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp scallions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 pinch red pepper in flakes
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 7 oz shirataki noodles

Directions

  1. Bring an enormous pot of water salted to a point of boiling.
  2. Drain and wash the shirataki noodles. Then, rinse for 1-2 minutes using the strainer. Note that they will smell strongly pungent at first, which should fade after you rinse them.
  3. Add Shirataki noodles into the water that is boiling and boil for a couple of minutes.
  4. While the Shirataki noodles are cooking roast your sesame seeds. Put them in an oven-proof skillet and cook for about a minute at moderate high heat (no cooking oil).
  5. Remove all sesame seeds, then place them aside.
  6. Drain the shirataki pasta, then cook the noodles in the skillet (no oil) to dry cook the noodles.
  7. Cook for approximately 2-minutes or so until it is less brittle.
  8. Stir into the tahini red pepper flakes and vinegar.
  9. Stir until the noodles are well mixed and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes or until the noodles are coated completely and cooked.
  10. Remove your shirataki noodles out of the flame and sprinkle the sesame seeds, scallions and sesame seeds on top. Serve and have fun!
