Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp scallions, chopped
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 pinch red pepper in flakes
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp coconut aminos
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 7 oz shirataki noodles
Directions
- Bring an enormous pot of water salted to a point of boiling.
- Drain and wash the shirataki noodles. Then, rinse for 1-2 minutes using the strainer. Note that they will smell strongly pungent at first, which should fade after you rinse them.
- Add Shirataki noodles into the water that is boiling and boil for a couple of minutes.
- While the Shirataki noodles are cooking roast your sesame seeds. Put them in an oven-proof skillet and cook for about a minute at moderate high heat (no cooking oil).
- Remove all sesame seeds, then place them aside.
- Drain the shirataki pasta, then cook the noodles in the skillet (no oil) to dry cook the noodles.
- Cook for approximately 2-minutes or so until it is less brittle.
- Stir into the tahini red pepper flakes and vinegar.
- Stir until the noodles are well mixed and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes or until the noodles are coated completely and cooked.
- Remove your shirataki noodles out of the flame and sprinkle the sesame seeds, scallions and sesame seeds on top. Serve and have fun!
