Rather than just plain old prawns, try these skewers with grilled lemon pesto! They have a delicious lime flavour, a lot of protein, and healthy fats. Furthermore, a single keto prawn skewer has only 2g of net carbohydrates! This implies that you won’t feel bad after consuming multiple portions!

Ingredients
- 1 cup cilantro (stems removed)
- 1 cup parsley (stems removed)
- 3 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- Salt and pepper according to your preference
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled, deveined, tails removed)
- 4 BBQ skewers
Directions
- Add the parsley, cilantro garlic, cilantro hemp seeds, lime juice salt, pepper, and cilantro in the food processor. Pulse to chop finely the parsley and cilantro. While the food processor is running pour in olive oil. Blend for around one minute, scraping any sides as required.
- Add half the sauce into a zipper-lock bag and then include the shrimp. Marinate the shrimp at least 15 minutes.
- Shake off any marinade left over and then pierce the shrimp on the barbecue.
Remove the marinade that was on the shrimp. - Grill on medium-high heat for about four to five minutes, turning halfway through and until keto shrimp skewers have cooked to perfection. Split the shrimp skewers among plates and serve them with the sauce remaining. Enjoy!
