Keto Energy Bars With Chocolate and Coconut

In need of an afternoon pick-me-up that isn’t overly sweet? Look at these energy bars that fit the keto diet! They have a tonne of good fats that will give you more energy and make your day go more smoothly! To give you a boost of protein, this dish also includes nuts and protein powder!

Ingredients:
-2 cups raw keto unsalted keto mixed nuts
-2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
-2 tbsp coconut butter, melted
-14 cup cacao butter in raw form, melting

-2 tbsp chia seeds
-3 2 tablespoons almond flour
-1/3 cup almond butter unsweetened
-3 tbsp keto sweetener
-2 tsp cinnamon
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-1 tsp maca powder
-12 Cup Protein powder, or Collagen powder (chocolate collagen powder is used)
Directions
1.Preheat oven until 350° F.
2.Place a sheet pan on parchment paper. Spread nuts evenly across the pan.
3.Roast for 15-18 mins Shake the pan from time to time to get even.
4.Removing the nuts and let them cool completely.
5.Place the nuts that have cooled in the food processor. Pulse for 30 seconds to one minute, until the nuts are finely chopped.

6.Mix in the rest of the ingredients and pulse until thoroughly blended, about 10-15 times until the mixture is the consistency of a thick paste.
Note: If you’re adding protein powder, mix it in 8 to 10 times more. If you are using protein powder, pulse it in 5-8 times.
If the mixture is dry make sure to add coconut oil. If the mixture is wet then make sure to add additional almond flour.
7.Line the bottom of a square or 9×9 pan with parchment paper and hang across the side.
8.Place the mix in the pan, spreading it evenly using the spatula.
It’s much easier to make use of your hands to spread the mix evenly distributed inside the pan.
9.Keep it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
10.Cut keto bars in squares, then keep them in the fridge for up to a month.
11.Place them in the freezer at least 3 months. While they’re tempting however, they will defrost quite quickly during a hot day and should be kept chilled or frozen until you are ready to take a bite.
