The perfect sweet treat are these almonds wrapped in chocolate that are keto!The rich, rich flavour of chocolate is enhanced by the nutty flavour of almonds. Take the recipe in its entirety or, to speed up the process you can make chocolate-covered almond clusters! Simply add a few almonds into a cluster on the baking sheet lined with parchment, and drizzle the chocolate over the top. Allow the chocolate to set in the fridge, and you’ll be left with delicious keto chocolate-covered almond clusters!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup keto chocolate chips (Bake Believe dark chocolate chips used)
- 1/2 tsp coconut oil
- 1/2 cup almonds
- optional salt to taste
Directions
- Prepare a baking sheet by covering it using parchment.
- Incorporate the keto-chocolate chips as well as coconut oil into a large container or coffee cup.(This helps to cover the almonds.
- Melt the coconut oil and chocolate by heating them for about 30 seconds.Stir, and then stir in intervals of 15 seconds until the chocolate is completely melting. Be careful not to cook too long otherwise, the chocolate may become hard.
- Drop an almond in the melting chocolate, then scoop it out with the fork or spoon, and place it on the paper.Repeat this process until all the almonds are coated with chocolate.
- Optional: sprinkle some fine salt, sea salt or salt over the top
- Place your keto chocolate-covered almonds in the refrigerator for 20-30 mins or until the chocolate has set.
- Reserve and enjoy your leftovers in the refrigerator with an airtight container!
