Chimichurri Steak Skewers

If you’ve never tried Chimichurri, you should. It’s an Argentinian herb sauce that’s not cooked and has an earthy, bright taste. It is typically served in restaurants with a high-end menu Chimichurri is easily made with only six ingredients. It is the ideal keto-friendly sauce for chicken, steak or even seafood.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups cilantro (stems removed)
  • 1 1/4 cups parsley (stems removed)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt, divided
  • 1 3/4 1 lbs of top sirloin steak Cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 cups red onion Chopped

Directions

  1. A food processor is the best way to mix the parsley, cilantro as well as garlic, the apple cider vinegar and oil as well as half the salt, until the desired consistency is achieved. Add additional oil or water depending on the amount you need.
